This limited release coffee has a delicious fruit sweetness with notes of watermelon, apricot, and a long lasting sweet finish.
This peaberry is processed using the “Natural /Dry” Processing Method which allows the seed to dry inside the cherry after harvest. The Natural processing method lends a distinct fruit forward character, coming across in the as Watermelon and Apricot, balanced with a syrupy body and a fun long lasting jolly rancher candy finish.
Ka’u has really made a name for its self in the specialty coffee sector the past 5-10 years. This farm in particular just recently placed 2nd in their district and 3rd overall in the Commercial division at the 2016 Hawaii Coffee Association Cupping Competition.
