
We’re so excited to officially welcome you to our brand new Bakery on King! Nestled in the heart of Mō‘ili‘ili at 2643 South King Street and near the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, our newest location opened its doors on July 21st, and we’ve been brewing (and baking!) up something special ever since.
This new location offers outdoor seating, ample on-site parking (FREE for the first hour with our QR code!), and street parking. We’re open daily from 6am to 4pm, so it's perfect for early risers and midday snackers alike. As you approach, keep an eye out for our vibrant, eye-catching mural created by local artist Boz Schurr—it marks the spot! Once you see it, turn onto Kahuna Ln., and you’ll find the entrance to our parking lot right there.
New Chef, New Exclusive Menu
Spearheading this next chapter is Brian Sung, a classically trained pastry chef and hospitality leader who now serves as our Director of Culinary Operations. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, Brian brings a wealth of experience from world-renowned kitchens and luxury hospitality groups.
On the croissant menu, we’re bringing bold local flavors and playful twists:

- Avocado Toast: Seasoned avocado on our housemade sourdough bread, topped with pickled onions, cucumbers, and arugula with a lilikoi vinaigrette
- Loco Moco: Our spin on the classic local favorite! Seasoned beef patty, a sunny side up egg, and our signature coffee demiglace on top of white rice
- Omurice: Fried rice and savory kalua pork wrapped in an egg omelette, and topped with our signature coffee demiglace
- Three Cheese Grilled Cheese: Cheddar, gruyere, and provolone cheese in between our housemade sourdough bread, pan-seared with cotija cheese, and served with kettle chips
- Pancake Stack: Fluffly, buttery pancakes served with a whipped coconut cream and a coffee-infused maple syrup

Pre- and Grand Opening Events
Like many big projects, there were delays and challenges along the way, but your patience and support meant everything to us. We truly couldn’t have brought the Bakery on King to life without the encouragement of our community, dedicated team members, and incredible business partners who stood by us every step of the way. We hosted a special media preview the week before opening to share a first look at what we’ve been working on, followed by an intimate Mahalo event for those who have supported this journey from day one.

To make our grand opening even more special, we’re proud to introduce a limited-time coffee blend created just for this occasion: “Bakery on King.” Crafted to honor not only our newest location but also farm to cup coffee — this seasonal blend celebrates the artistry that goes into every pastry and pour.
The blend itself is a thoughtful composition of:
